Some long-standing members of Riftwatch may have met Cosima before; she was known to be polite and friendly, and involved mainly in researching red lyrium. She was also romantically connected to Herian Amsel. Those with the longest memories (or the most enthusiasm for reading old reports) may be aware that she was part of the team that negotiated the future of phylacteries for rifters and/or that she was one of the group who had a misadventure with time travel years ago.
